Riva Lava

Riva Lava is Professor at the School of Architecture of the NTUA with the subject Architectural Design and Heritage. A licensed architect (NTUA Athens / Cooper Union, New York) and Ph.D. in architecture (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki). She has lived and worked in Athens and New York City. She has taught in the US, Europe and China.

Main author of the book “Places of Engagement”/KALLIPOS editions (2024), she edited the book “Santorini Mindscapes”/NTUA edition (2020) and “Issues of Cultural Heritage”/ MELISSA editions (2010/2020) and participated in EU heritage research programs such as SoPHIA/Horizon for the development of an assessment model in cultural heritage and the program BYZEIS/EU. She participated at the “Architecture as Icon” project of the Princeton University.
